IIS offers family boarding, in a comfortable home within easy walking distance of school.

The boarding facility offers comfortable rooms with bunk beds, a desk and closet/wardrobe for each student, shared dining and living room spaces, and a very large compound with space for outdoor games and gardens.  Currently, our Secondary English/Humanities teacher and his wife are the boarding parents, sharing the home with the boarding students and overseeing their academic and social welfare on a day-to-day basis.  Students are provided with a breakfast, snacks for school, a warm meal upon return from school and a delicious dinner in the evening. On Saturdays, there is a trip to town for anyone who needs supplies.  Attendance at religious services (e.g. church or mosque), additional tutoring or home language instruction can also be arranged upon agreement with the child's family.
