2011-12 School Fees Schedule
The school has three categories of school fees. Category ‘A’ consists of children of expatriates whose schooling expenses are covered by their employers either directly or indirectly. Category ‘B’ consists of expatriates who are not refunded or covered by their employers, and Category ‘C’ consists of children of Tanzanian citizens. The following tables give information on the current school fees in US-Dollars:

All students:
Stationery and Book Fees - $80 each, all students
Category ‘C’ dues may be paid in Tshs. to the equivalent of the Barclays Dollar selling rate on day of payment. All other categories must pay in US-Dollars.
Boarding fees – annual $4000
Boarding fees – weekly $2995
There is a $200 caution money charge for boarding students, returned when students quit boarding, given no damage is done.
Children with different nutritional needs/ care are charged extra. Pocket money and medical expenses are covered by parents. $500 deposit required by June 30th each year to guarantee space for following school year.
The Registration fee:
a) a one-off payment, paid only when student first joins school. This fee is non-refundable.
b) Second, third and other children enrolled while siblings are still attending IIS are entitled to a discount, on an escalatory scale, on the Registration Fees only. (25%, 50%, 50%, -75%, -0- )
Payment of school fees by installment, after confirmation of such from the School Administration, will be charged a 10% administrative fee. Installments should be made as follows: 1st payment : 45% before the start of term one, 2nd payment: 35% before January term, 3rd payment 20% before the start of term three.
