Thank you for visiting the Iringa International School (IIS) website!  We are a co-educational community-led, English-medium school in the picturesque Southern Highlands of Tanzania, in East Africa, offering a world-class education for children aged 3 to 16.

IIS follows the official National Curriculum of England and Wales, and is an official Cambridge University International Examination Centre (CIE). IIS is also a member of the Association of International Schools of Africa (AISA), and the Council of International Schools (CIS).

IGCSE RESULTS IN!
Congratulations to the Class of 2008

IIS is very proud of its recent graduates, who completed the IGCSE exams in May/June 2008.  Attesting to our high academic standards and the individual students' hard work, the entire class passed, receiving the International Certificate of Education (ICE), and two-thirds of the class passed with distinction, including A* results in First Language English and Business Studies.
